Ava had her first day of 1st grade today! She was so excited and suprisingly got up at 7:00 am when her alarm rang. I dont think she has ever been up that early before! The early part is going to be a big adjustment for the both of us. I kept asking her if she was nervous and she kept telling me she was excited to see all her friends, ride the bus with them, and eat hot lunch at school. I was the only nervous one I think. Just having her gone ALL day is freaking me out a little. We found out yesterday that the first day of school was "wear something red" day, so she didn't get to wear the outfit she had planned, but we figured it out. I am so proud of her and cant wait to hear how her day was!

Ava looked so cute. Hope she had a fabulous first day! Kaydie was excited to see all your pictures. It makes her a little sad to see all the girls. She sure misses them. She sent Ava a letter on Monday so hopefully it gets there soon.
I hope you're enjoying your days with Owen. All day school is awesome, but weird at the same time too.
